If you have a bag or wallet from us, clean it with an ecological cleaning product and waterproof it regularly to protect it from dirt and water.
From time to time you should clean the canvas fabric and leather with the NORDLICHT Clean gently with a cleaner so that dirt cannot permanently settle in the fabric. You can remove light dirt with the sponge from the care set. For tougher stains, you can apply the cleaner with a brush. You should then impregnate the cleaned product to maintain protection. Our products are not suitable for the washing machine.

If you get caught in a rain shower with your bag or backpack, that's no problem at all, but you shouldn't put your companion on a heater to dry, for example. This makes the leather brittle. It is better to wipe the raindrops with a soft cloth and put the bag or backpack in a warm room.
Each leather part is an individual natural product and can therefore show traces or even minor scratches. It's a good idea to take some care of the leather, especially after a demanding trip. Just take this NORDLICHT Leather grease. It makes stressed leather soft and supple again and scratches disappear. Simply massage into the previously cleaned leather with a cotton cloth. Care with leather grease also enhances the individual look and patina.
If larger wrinkles have formed on the canvas, you can easily iron them out. Ideally, place a piece of paper or fabric between the iron and your Nordlicht product to avoid damaging the canvas. Dampen the canvas slightly before ironing and do not set the iron too hot.
Our products are all made by hand. It can occasionally happen that a thread was overlooked at the seams and is not cut. However, this does not mean that your product is broken. Here too, the simplest option is: the woman is herself! (Or the man!). Simply grab your nail scissors from the bathroom and carefully cut the thread.
