We are GOTS certified
GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is a textile seal that has defined a controllable standard regarding social and ecological responsibility in textile production since 2008. Items with GOTS certification ensure a particularly high environmentally friendly standard for our clothing and textiles - from the extraction of raw textile fibers to dyeing and manufacturing, trust and safety are transparently reflected along the entire textile production chain.
Another important feature is compliance with minimum standards of social aspects along the entire textile chain. Fair wages and protection of workers, no forced or child labor, no mistreatment or discrimination are central components of the examination. Responsible Wool Standard (RWS)
The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) stands for wool that is not only soft, but also responsible. The seal ensures that sheep are kept in a species-appropriate manner - without mulesing and with consideration for their well-being. At the same time, sustainable pasture management and a transparent supply chain are promoted. RWS-certified wool means quality with respect - for the animals, nature and a better future.

Global Recycled Standard
The Global Recycled Standard (GRS) is a certification system that ensures the traceability and recycled content of materials in the textile and fashion industry. It promotes the use of recycled raw materials and sets strict requirements for ecological and social standards along the entire supply chain. GRS-certified products guarantee that they come from recycled material, while animal welfare, environmental protection and fair working conditions are ensured. With GRS-certified materials, Nordlicht is setting an example for sustainability and transparency in production.
